{"id":978,"date":"2015-09-11T12:51:16","date_gmt":"2015-09-11T12:51:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.domaine-cruchandeau.com\/?page_id=978&#038;lang=en"},"modified":"2016-03-07T17:02:46","modified_gmt":"2016-03-07T17:02:46","slug":"bouzeron","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.domaine-cruchandeau.com\/en\/wines\/bouzeron\/","title":{"rendered":"Bouzeron"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>Bouzeron \u00ab Cuv\u00e9e Massale\u00a0\u00bb<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Variety:<\/strong> Aligot\u00e9<br \/>\n<strong>Age of the vines:<\/strong> 66 years<br \/>\n<strong>Terroir:<\/strong> medium slope facing south\/south-west, altitude 270 metres, soil white marl, tilled vineyards<br \/>\n<strong>Cultivation method:<\/strong> Lutte raisonn\u00e9e.<br \/>\n<strong>Harvesting:<\/strong> Grapes are hand-picked and -sorted.<br \/>\n<strong>Fermentation:<\/strong> Slow, around 20 days in stainless steel vats.<br \/>\n<strong>Maturation<\/strong>: 80% in vats to retain Aligot\u00e9&#8217;s freshness and mineral qualities and 20% in new barrels to add complexity by giving it body and a very discreet toasty note.<br \/>\n<strong>Tasting notes:<\/strong> aromas of white flowers on the nose, a fresh attack on the palate typical of Aligot\u00e9 leaving room for body and fruity notes, then the mineral notes leave you with a long finish.<br \/>\n<strong>Food match:<\/strong> This wine is best enjoyed neat as an aperitif \u2013 mixing with cr\u00e8me de cassis is not recommended as this Aligot\u00e9 is not vinified for this purpose \u2013 and can accompany charcuterie, seafood and goat&#8217;s cheese.<br \/>\n<strong>Serving temperature:<\/strong> 10\u00b0C to 12\u00b0C<br \/>\n<strong>Cellaring potential:<\/strong> Can be enjoyed while young, but some vintages may be cellared for up to 12 years.
