Terroir: Located a few kilometres from Nuits Saint Georges, on a steep slope facing south/south-west, at an altitude of around 380 metres. It is clay and limestone with very little soil.
Cultivation method: Lutte raisonnée

Harvesting: Grapes are hand-picked and -sorted
Fermentation: 50% to 100% destemming depending on the vintage. Cold maceration for ten days or so with frequent pumping over and punching down.
Maturation: Approximately 15 months on lees in oak barrels with 20% new barrels
Tasting notes: A delicate nose, aromas of red fruit (blackcurrant, redcurrant) and intense colour. Great structure and fine tannic presence in the mouth.
Food match: Roasted white meats, game birds, charcuterie, grilled red meats
Serving temperature: 14°C to 16°C
